How the saving is calculated

The figure on the overview is indicative. It is the supplier part for a fixed household profile, not your bill.

The household

3,500 kWh of electricity on a single meter and 17,000 kWh of gas, spread evenly across the months. Day and night rates can be calculated too, but the overview uses the single-meter profile.

You are compared with the median open offer that month. The other line is the cheapest open offer. No supplier is named.

What is included

Each month: (energy price + green certificates + CHP) × consumption + the fixed fee, then 6% VAT. Variable formulas a·A + b·B + c·C + d·D + z use that month’s VNR index, in €/MWh, and produce c€/kWh.

Network tariffs and taxes other than that VAT are not added. A dynamic contract, a social tariff, a group purchase, a Test-Aankoop or partner formula, prepaid and a vacant-home product do not count. If the same tariff has two names, the plainer name remains.

The fee

Missed savings are the sum of the gaps between the median and the cheapest offer. The June Switch Plus fee comes off: €119 a year, scaled to the chosen period. That is the public yearly price on june.energy. June’s own calculation can replace this figure later.

Three, six or twelve months end on the latest V-test month. A missing month is left out, and we say so.
